McDonald's Real Fruit Smoothies teamed up with Gloss to reach nail salon goers, proving that nothing pairs better with a fresh manicure than a smoothie and some juicy gossip. McDonald’s chose a Gloss “salon domination” strategy and took over 125 nail salons in the Houston DMA - utilizing salon media including branded emery boards, branded manicure-pedicure mats, entrance clings and counter displays with coupon take-ones. Women indulging themselves in the salons were made aware of McDonald’s delicious new offerings and were then encouraged to try a free sample by redeeming a coupon they received after their services. All participating salons fell within a 5-mile radius of a McDonald’s location, to encourage maximum redemption. 

 

Dawn Hand Renewal found great success in our Salon Network with running two annual campaigns in Puerto Rico. The first campaign ran for 3 months in 20 Salons where they displayed interior billboards and counter displays as well as utilizing manicure/pedicure mats. The second campaign ran for another 3 months in 30 Salons in Puerto Rico utilizing counter displays, manicure/pedicure mats, branded capes and branded emery boards.
